Jersey Coasteering Sites
Our regular ‘got to site’ is Greve De Lecq, a nonstop adventure packed route that has it all from back to back jumps, underwater swim trough’s and a secret beach accessed by a 80 meter tunnel.
One of our favorites is the Gorselands route on the South West coast of Jersey. This site works well for private groups as there is a remote meet point and we sometimes use boat pickups and transfers back to St Brelades Bay. This is a real coasteering purist’s route, due to the high swell exposure we are the only company that regularly use this giving it a really remote adventure feel. This area also works well as longer, intermediate to advanced session ….great for military training or groups that want the thrill of pushing the comfort zone.
Corbiere Lighthouse, the ‘Mount Everest’ of coasteering Jersey. With huge exposure to swell and tidal currents = thrill time!! Currently we are awaiting a site visit from our technical advisor (Andy Spink of http://www.hebrideanpursuits.com/ ) before this becomes commercially operational. With huge splash zones & swell surges it makes a great training site for all any new recruits and is a regular haunt for Absolute Adventures staff getting their ’after hours kicks’.
