Chester's 1st ski attempt aged 4.. hit the throttle grandpa !!

 Chester Mackley thinks the ocean is the ultimate playground and has owned and run Absolute Adventures since 1999.  Originally from South Africa Chester represented his province for surfing. As a waterman he loves and respects any manner of  watersports based adventure and while surfing still remains his number 1  passion he enjoys wakeboarding ,waterskiing( since the age of 4) kayaking, stand up paddle boarding (SUPing) and tow in surfing and coasteering. Essentially Chester just enjoys playing in the sea .He is RYA Power Boat level 2, BCU Level 2 coach, RYA 1st Aid and X-sail trainer.

Kevin Mansell started kayaking at St Brelades Bay towards the end of the 1960’s and although he has travelled widely in pursuit of sea kayaking the stretch of coast between St Brelade’s and Corbiere remains his favourite short paddle, a section of Jersey which he always enjoys sharing with other kayakers.A British Canoe Union Level 5 Coach he has kayaked and coached extensively in the British Isles, North America, Europe and the Arctic. He is also one of a handful of paddlers who have crossed from Jersey to England.

Tom Turner has kayaked on the sea for over thirty years and holds the BCU Level 5 coach sea award and Level 3 surf kayak award.He has paddled  in a number of areas around Britain including the North East coast of England, West of Scotland including the Outer Hebrides, Shetland Isles, French coasts of Normandy and Brittany, Faroe Islands, Greenland, & Siberia and of course the local shores of Jersey over the last seventeen years. He believes in the motto, ‘Oceans are Free’ and there is no better way to explore the sea and its coastline than from a kayak.

Nicky Mansell is a BCU Level 4 Coach with many years experience of paddling in Jersey’s waters.  She was a member of the first group from Jersey to paddle around Nordkapp, the most northerly point of Europe.  More recently she has discovered the pleasures of paddling around a number of Mediterranean islands.When not kayaking Nicky has spent time involved in a range of other outdoor activities including leading four trekking trips in the Himalayas.
